Mike has been singing and playing guitar since he was eight years old. Beginning in high school, he started performing solo, with bands, in theater pits, and other groups in Maine and around the world.

Do you need a live or studio musician for your project? Mike can jump in and fill that spot! He has played guitar with many ensembles, including countless orchestras for local professional and amateur musical theater productions. He is able to read music, but he is just as comfortable jamming while you yell out chord changes.
He is available to play acoustic / electric guitar (both rhythm and lead), bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and banjo. He can also sing lead or provide backup vocals. His vocal range is primarily tenor, but he can cover baritone as well.

Mike is available to play acoustic guitar and sing for wedding ceremonies throughout Maine. Some couples like to create a mood for their arriving guests with acoustic guitar, or incorporate an upbeat recessional with a non-traditional rock song. Whether you would like your big day to feature contemporary rock, folk, music from a specific era (at a recent wedding the bride and groom built their entire ceremony around Beatles songs!), or you are interested in a more classic sound, Mike can work with you to create your perfect wedding soundtrack.
Do you want your wedding music to really shine? Mike’s wife, Tori Lee Jackson, is also a singer. They are available to play any portion of your big day as a duo. Their vocal harmonies can help create the soundscape for the wedding of your dreams.

Mike is a truly talented singer and guitarist. He performed during our ceremony and at our cocktail hour.
